What is temp mail?
Temp mail is a disposable email address you can use instead of your real one. It receives messages for a short time and then disappears, which keeps sign-up spam, newsletters and data leaks away from your personal inbox.
Is TempMail.loan free?
Yes. Borrowing a temp mail address is free and needs no account, no password and no phone number.
How long does my temp mail address last?
Every address is on loan for 24 hours. When the loan is due, the address and all of its messages are permanently deleted. You can also get a new address at any time.
Can someone else read my inbox?
Not just by knowing the address. Each inbox is protected by a secret key that only your browser holds. Anyone with that key, including scripts you give it to, can read the inbox until it expires.
Can I send email from a temp mail address?
No. TempMail.loan is receive-only, so it can't be used to send spam or impersonate anyone.
Why hasn't my email arrived?
Most mail shows up within seconds. If it doesn't, double-check the address, make sure the inbox hasn't expired, and note that some websites refuse disposable email domains. Messages over 5 MB and inboxes with more than 50 messages are rejected.
Will I get the same address if I come back later?
In the same browser, yes — until the 24-hour loan runs out. Clearing your browser data or switching devices gives you a new address, and an expired address can't be recovered.
Should I use temp mail for important accounts?
No. Because the address expires, you won't be able to reset a password or receive security alerts later. Use temp mail for trials, one-off downloads and testing — not for banking, work or anything you want to keep.
